Hello Neighbors,

As most of you know, we are working on amending one of our governing documents to provide clear legal authority to handle assessments in the manner as has been done since the community was first established. There are 436 homes covered by the Governing Document that we are trying to amend and each home was mailed a ballot that explains what we are trying to accomplish. Specifically, if you live on one of the streets listed below, you should have received a ballot in the mail:
Avory Ridge
Beacon Green
Blakely Grove
Brighton Brook
Cactus Heights
Camelia Crest
Dover Mist
Gable Stone
Garden Glen
Garden Ivy
Glen Falls
Haven Brook
Hickory Bend (3 homes)
High Falls
Hollow Mist
Lantana Springs
Laurel Leaf
Lavender Hills
Melody Peak
Mossy Bend
Myrtle Crest
Peonies Court
Plantain Lily
Sawyer Crossing
Summit Springs
Windy Bank
Yorkshire Creek

If you did not receive the mailout, or perhaps it was misplaced, please let us know and we will get you another one.
We wanted to thank the 71 people (as of last Friday) who have already cast their ballot. We are also happy to report that the vote has been overwhelmingly in support of the Amendment, 67 FOR and 4 AGAINST. The Board believes this Amendment benefits everyone in the entire community.
But now we need your help. In order for the Amendment to pass, there must be an affirmative vote of a majority of the 436 homes. In other words, we still need at least 152 homes from the streets listed above to vote for the Amendment. Despite the fact that we expect a nearly unanimous vote, it is a very difficult task to get more than 50% voter turnout (and our goal will not be achieved without your supporting, reminding voices)!
So, we are making this plea to all 436 homes–please take this moment to cast your ballot (if you haven’t already done so), and rally your neighbors to do the same. And the easiest way to do this is to fill out the ballot, take a picture of it and email it to the management company at signatureamllc@gmail.com.
Attached is a document with the actual Amendment and the ballot, both of which are hopefully self-explanatory. However, if you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask the Board by emailing us at directors@lohg.org or by attending the March HOA meeting, which is this Wednesday at 7:00 pm at St. Andrews Episcopal Church (the “Pumpkin Patch Church”).
This letter, the Amendment and the ballot have also been posted to the LOHG website, www.lohg.org.
Thank you for your time.
With best regards,

Lakes of Highland Glen HOA Board
